Position: Director, Educational Talent Search

Brief Description of Position: Under the direction of the Dean of Student Services, the Educational Talent Search (ETS) Project Director will assume overall responsibility of the project, project staff, and project participants. This position is 100% funded by a grant from the Department of Education in conjunction with WPCC. Successful applicants would need to work flexible hours during specific programming events that take place outside of the normal work day, including travel and extended overnight trip activities. Also, personal travel utilizing one’s own vehicle is necessary at times as well as some overnight travel for staff development.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Education, Student Development, Student Personnel Administration, Counseling, or related field required.
- 2-3 years’ experience in program management, facilitation, and implementation required.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.
- Knowledge of academic advising services; development of individual service plans; and college, career, financial aid, and economic literacy services/programing for disadvantaged students required.
- Experience managing projects with specified goals, objectives, and timelines required.
- Previous experience in managing TRIO funded programs or servicing disadvantaged student populations similar to TRIO preferred.

Salary: Hiring Range – Minimum to Midpoint ($3,551 – 3,770/monthly)
