Water/Wastewater Operator & Maintenance Worker

The Village of DeWitt is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a full-time Water/Wastewater Operator & Maintenance Worker. This position will perform duties in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the sewer and water systems; streets; storm drainage; parks; swimming pool; city equipment; public buildings; heavy equipment operations; and other tasks as assigned for the Village of DeWitt. Candidate must be in good physical condition and possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license and a clean driving record. State Certification as a Grade 4 Water Operator and a Grade 2 Wastewater Operator license are required (or the ability to obtain proper licensure within 1 year of employment). Pay based on experience and certification. Resumes will be reviewed as received, and it would be preferred to receive them as soon as possible.
