The University of Tennessee Foundation Inc. (UTFI) UT Health Science Center (UTHSC) located in Memphis, TN seeks applications and nominations for an experienced, creative, highly organized, and motivated leader with exceptional fundraising skills to serve as the Director of Annual Giving. Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Alumni and Constituent Engagement, this position will be responsible for overseeing all the annual giving programs including creation, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive, multi-year plan to increase strategic solicitation of financial support from alumni, friends, students, parents and faculty & staff of the university via various communication channels including but not limited to: direct mail, e-mail, social media, and in person engagement. This plan covers a variety of solicitation methods with a goal of raising a minimum of $2 million in annual giving dollars. This position will also be responsible for managing and coordinating an annual, comprehensive Day of Giving and Family Campaign event as well as working with the stewardship and alumni affairs teams to implement best practices to increase total donors and donor retention rates.

Qualifications :
Qualifications: Bachelor's with a minimum of five years or master’s degree with a minimum of three year of professional experience in communication, marketing, fundraising, sales, or related fields. Skills: Proficiency in a variety of software programs and project management; highly developed verbal and written communication; and demonstrated organizational skills are necessary. In addition, the position requires the ability to work independently, build relationships, and solicit gifts.
