Job Description
The Transfer Associate provides support for the implementation of college-wide transfer programming, development of transfer agreements, the execution of transfer activities, and provision of college-wide transfer training for faculty and staff.
Duties and tasks:
- Responsible for updating college-wide transfer information and resources both in print and on the website.
- Communicates regularly with students regarding transfer updates and events.
- Collaborates with campus transfer counselors to organize various college-wide transfer events for students.
- Assists Coordinator of University Transfer and Initiatives with organization and delivery of transfer-related trainings for faculty and staff.
- Participates in and provides support for transfer initiatives, partnerships, and activities.
- Assists with elevated student concerns.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent occupational experience
- Some experience processing transfers
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic advising experience
- Experience at the community college level
- Experience working with students from diverse language and cultural backgrounds
