Part Time Lab Assistant (1000 HR WKR) - FY 2024

Job Description

Reserve future equipment pickups for students and/or instructors by means of a calendar based reservation system.
Help to prepare equipment packages that will be picked up by students.
Inspect equipment for any damages and/or missing parts upon return from students.
Aid in teaching safe use of Video equipment so as to avoid costly damages.
Prepare equipment for students and/or instructors to use in Lab Areas and inspect returned equipment for missing parts and/or damages.

Preferred Qualification:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have working knowledge of video cameras, lighting and grip equipment, microphones and sound mixers.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with students on a daily basis.

Required Qualification:

Must be enrolled in or have passed VID 110B.

Salary Range

$11.25 Hourly
